Hello! I hope everyone is having an enjoyable and safe summer full of adventures!
I wanted to share some quick tips to help you say goodbye to the monthly PMS roller coaster ride and fully absorb the summertime delights:
One
Avoid coffee and sugar for the last 14 days of your menstrual cycle (Day 1 is the first day of your menstrual period).
Two
Avoid the use of all plastics. Don’t store or heat your food in plastic and don’t drink out of plastic water bottles. Plastics contain chemicals that mimic estrogen in our bodies, leading to estrogen dominance and PMS symptoms.
Three
Indole-3-Carbinol can significantly help with PMS symptoms. It’s best to take it throughout the entire menstrual cycle.
Four
High quality calcium and magnesium supplements have been shown to reduce PMS symptoms. So, try taking extra of these for a couple of months and see if it reduces your premenstrual blues.
Five
Vitamin B6 is fantastic for PMS. A dose of 50mg twice per day during the last half of your menstrual cycle can definitely help.
Best,
